INTRODUCING KRAKEN METAVERSE
kraken metaverse, an action role-playing game built on Solana. Solana is one of the world’s first web-scale blockchains and fastest networks, thanks to its speed and claimed throughput of 50,000 TPS (transactions per second). It is also known as a fourth-generation blockchain that aims to solve the blockchain trilemma — creating a fast and scalable network, without compromising on its security or decentralization, for this reasons and many more we chose Solana to build-on.
Game-Play
Kraken metaverse is a free-to-play game built on Solana, with various in-game mode like PVP, campaigns, Dungeon assault and tower ascension. At game-start each player gets a randomly selected “super-warrior”, along side gems enough to purchase any other 4 “Ordinary Warriors”, as each battle-mode requires 5 warriors (1 super warrior and 4 ordinary warriors). As the game progresses you’ll be able to unlock more characters by collecting “Genes”, which can be gathered through the regular play or by purchasing boxes with randomly generated rewards. You collect enough “Genes” for a particular character and you can unlock them, and collect even more “Genes” to make them stronger.
Players can challenge themselves with various in-game mode with rewards iKraken and NFTs.
All game characters and items are NFTs which can be traded in the marketplace for real monetary value, in this case you earn as you play.
iKRAKEN
iKraken is an in-game currency that can be swapped for gems needed to upgrade your warriors, there are variety of ways in which you can get iKraken, you could get it by swapping $KRAK for iKraken, These Gems can then be used to buy pretty much everything else in the game in decent quantities, otherwise you can simply play through the game and earn all of those supplies as you go. The more battles you win, the higher your XP and the more iKraken you get. Which can easily be swapped back for $KRAK.

The game-play uses the energy bar model, which means going on a mission will cost energy. If you use up all of your energy, you’re done for the day. On the other hand you can buy more energy in the in-game store.

$KRAK
$KRAK is an SLP token that powers the Kraken Metaverse, it is originally designed as a governance token to allow our community (token holders) help shape the future of a Kraken Metaverse, by allowing holders vote on decisions. $KRAK can also be used to purchase gems in order to level-up faster (check above). As the game progresses, more use cases will be added in the future.
Tokenomics
Total Supply
In the beginning there is a large supply that will enable yield-farming for an extended period of time, around 70% of supply will be locked specifically for yield farming. There will only ever be 1 Billion $kraken in existence.
Sales
A total of 20% of total supply will be allocated for the sale. The sale would take place in 2 ways, there will be a private sale (Date TBD), and a public sale, a few days after the Private sale (Date TBD). 3.5% of total supply will be set aside for marketing and development, the dev token will be 4% and will be locked and vested for a period of 3 years.
Airdrop/Campaigns
1% will be airdropped to early supporters, 2% will be airdropped to our community members that meets the criteria and other upcoming campaigns within our community.
Burning Mechanism
Whenever a player buys a gem with iKraken, 98% will be burnt forever the remaining 2% will go to the dev.
Launch Date
The game is still in production as the developers are ferociously working towards setting a launch date, more developers will be brought in to fast-track the launch.
